Black Hills Photo Shootout ~ Coke

One of my guilty pleasures:

~

Coke

~

Boondock's

south of Deadwood, SD

was loaded with

Coke indulgences . . .

~

for my

eyes

~

~

and camera

~

to be quenched.

~

Even today

~

~

it makes my ears long to hear

the rattle of an old Coke bottle dispenser . . .

{the one in the Ree Heights Store in 1981}

with the skinny door . . . with the cold air on my hands and face

in the summer

&

the explosion of carbonation under pressure

as the bottle top opens

on an old glass Coke bottle.

Thirsty?

For now he has to concentrate on weddings, and shootings,he is a daddy. You can see his work at http://gabrielfoto.com

  10. You know, I'm a Diet Coke drinker, and really hate when I go to a restaurant and they only offer Pepsi. But there's just something about the Coke logo that is just so superior to Diet Coke. There's nothing nostalgic whatsoever about Diet Coke.
