A grateful mom.
For sun-kissed cheeks
on my three healthy chicks
For the
courage
of my two oldest
first-time playing
piano
and
guitar
at church.
For a weekend with my mom.
And instead of the nap
that my flesh was craving
a late afternoon of fishing
on a perfect Mother's Day.
My camera
helps me find
the beauty
in the littlest things
and fills my heart
with gratitude.

Linking up with Soli Deo Gloria this evening . . .
What a special mother's day...I think my favorite picture is the reflection of the tree in the water...
ReplyDeleteBlessings sweet friend!
You truly have beautiful children! Happy Mother's Day from a SDG sista.
ReplyDeleteThis is a reminder that I need going into tomorrow: to be grateful for the little things. Sometimes those are actually the most important.
ReplyDeleteAdorable children. Your pictures are so brilliant and the one with the reflected tree -- awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting to read of children serving Jesus in His house. Starting young gives them a taste of the joy received when offering their talents back to Him.
Hope your day is full of sunshine!

Such words of wisdom that we should all learn to live by. Our 'treasures' grow up too fast! Beautiful, Jodi.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL pictures and yes camera's do help find the beauty. Do you also look for beauty in all things?:)

What a perfect way to spend your day! Great pics and the ultimate reminder that I just can't seem to get through my head, cherish the small things.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the sweet comment on my blog...and I love your pictures, and your words of wisdom. The pictures reminded me of when I used to go fishing in Loisiana with my family in the summers, such good memories :) Thank you :)
