This morning.
On the prairie.
It's only a couple of weeks a year.
That I get to enjoy these beauties.
Yesterday was our 18th anniversary.
I rode with my rancher to check cows
surprised by the abundance of purple cone flowers.
So I walked among them
this morning.
I sat down in their midst.
Reminders
of moments that fleet.
Moments to open my eyes.
Breathe deep.
"The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.”
Isaiah 40:8
Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments and thoughts. Good reminders for my heart!

ReplyDeleteI was so excited when I saw the first purple cone flowers blooming. They are one of my favorites too.
